Back in Biz
October is here and with it, the start of the NHL season. Flying into Boston yesterday, you could see the colors have already started to turn here in New England. Stretch and I spent last night at Fenway park watching the Blue Jays' Roy Halladay work his magic on a hapless, Triple-A caliber Red Sox lineup.
Tonight, we hope a much better match-up is in store for us between the Bruins and the Capitals at TD Garden.
Washington has not won in regulation in this building since Dec. 2, 2000. Boston has forged a 10-0-2-2 record against the Capitals during that period of time.
We've ironed out some kinks with the blog, and we've still got some more to fix, but we'll be using this space to keep you updated daily the rest of the way. Between the blog, our Twitter feeds (VogsCaps and WashCaps), the game day PreCap Podcasts at 2 pm, the video and written content on Caps.com and the weekly Capitals Report video podcast at 2 pm on Wednesdays, we'll have blanket Capitals coverage here from now through the end of the playoffs for all games, home and away.
We're getting ready for air now on today's Pre-Cap.
